The Lewin-Muresanu Duo brings together two internationally applauded soloists and chamber musicians who bring to their music-making a compelling energy, charisma, and virtuosity. In just a few years, the Duo has become well-known and sought-after for their electrifying performances. Their Canadian debut in 2003 was lauded by the Waterloo Gazette for its "power, affection and insight", "a sensational concert!" The Lewin-Muresanu Duo has just been named Ensemble-in-Residence at The Boston Conservatory where both musicians are on the Artist Faculty. The Boston Trio has become one of today’s most exciting young piano trios. Since their debut in 1997, they have enjoyed a devoted following in Boston and a steadily growing reputation throughout the United States. In 2004 Richard Dyer of the Boston Globe urged audiences “wherever this trio plays, drop everything and go hear them.” The trio was named in 2004 Ensemble-In-Residence in the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, and play frequently in Jordan Hall as part of the residency. Irina is also a member of Mistral and the Walden Chamber Players and performs frequently with the Boston Chamber Music Society. |
